Cigarette lighter with ~15V

Hello, I have a new Model x Plaid, and am noticing that my cigarette lighter ports have about 15.5V. Should it be this high? And can this damage so-called 12V accessories?

I went through a couple cheap air compressors; they were crap anyway, and would run poorly on my other regular gas vehicle with about 14V at the ports. But on the Tesla, the compressor would just die. Not sure if the higher voltage damaged it in some way.

So then this message in the manual is not 100% accurate

That would be correct, at least on version 2023.7.20. It could be different on other versions.

I'm on 2023.20.6
I really want this to be simple low-power-consumption solution to charge small stuff from 12v plug
I dont really need to use other more power-hungry modes just to keep the plug awake
And with new 12v (aka 15v) Li battery i dont even see how i can hook up a small inverter

Or the vehicle software version isn't working correctly. Report it to service and one of the two should eventually get fixed. Eventually is a pretty vague timeline, though
