Cleaning umbrela valves

I am dropping the battery in a week and I want to check and clean the umbrela valves while I am at it.
Does anyone have experience on how to best do this? What to look for, and what NOT to do.

Can I just remove them all and clean in water? Or is it best to try to clean them where they are.
Or simply buy new ones. They don't look expensive.

Found these pictures online, not my battery.

The umbrella valves are listed as "over the counter" so should be no problem getting new ones.
Same goes for HV fuse and fuse cover. I live just 2 km from an Service Centre.
I will just inspect and clean them with some wipes and brush/water. Or replace if needed.

Have been playing with the idea to make 2-3 holes in the fuse lid cover to "plug in" the hoses from an shoe dryer.
Then removing the umbrella valves and pushing hot and dry air thru the battery for like 48 hours to really dry out the battery inside.
Will this work, or is the compartments between the modules airtight?

I don't have an water ingress problem, but I like the idea of making sure its completely dry.
Also checking the speed sensor on Large DU for moisture.

We will be traveling away for 1 year soon, so the car will be left in the garage connected to charger.
