Is Colorado a state where you have to pay before taking delivery?

I'm getting mine at Littleton on Wednesday. I plan to bring a cashier's check and pay after i see the car.

I did that in Superior last June.

No. I took delivery on Monday. Thanks for the reminder that I need to install mine!

Obligatory new car photo. Got tint (15% front, 70% rear) and full front (and in front of rear tires) PPF installed. Tesla mud flap installation is truly a 5-minute process. FYI, a small fine-tipped screwdriver makes removing the clips much easier.

Got it done at Ride & Joy here in Parker. Highly recommended. Bumper, full hood, headlights, and front fenders.

How much, ballpark? Did they do paint correction at all?

For North Metro area, Man Cave in Westminster is great. Tends to be a bit more expensive than others, but they back their work. Had a few bubbles pop up on front tint and they re-did no questions asked and the bubbles (2) were very, very minor.

Also had them do PPF front clip and custom cut for rear wheel area. Bigger than Tesla's pre installed PPF and it has saved at least one rock hit already where Tesla's OEM wouldn't have protected
