Yes, there have been various recalls (that can't be fixed with a software update) over similar in the US.

@Goneincognito someone already posted a suggestion to report this issue to the regulatory body.

ICE cars have an inspection component to their service schedules. One one the checks is inspection of vehicle and tightening of chassis bolts etc. Tesla lacks any aftersales vehicle inspection. Nothing is inspected until a govt mandated safety check is mandated 5 years after purchase.
