Coolant questions.

Hello all,

Since I'm new to this whole electric car thing, I'd like to ask a question.
So, theres a video displaying the Model 3's coolant system, and the video confused me a bit. From what the video says, it appears that the motor/battery coolant is the same as the refrigerant. Is this true?
Please forgive me for the noob question, like I said I'm new to the electric car thing, I was a fan of ICE cars practically since I was born, but I recently started researching electric cars, and found they seemed more... reasonable.

And one more thing, about the 4 way valve that controls the coolant flow: what operates that (as in, what module operates it).

No, refrigerant is used only to move heat away from heat exchanger to radiator. Coolant is glycol based and it releases heat into heat exchanger.

ohhhh.. ok, I understand that now. I kinda got mixed up by the video, since it looked like the coolant merged with the refrigerant. Thanks!
