Cruise Control Not Working

Cruise control was working before FSD was installed. FSD was removed and now my cruise control is not working. Very dissatisfied

Did you purchase or subscribe to FSD or get the free trial? Either, you can disable FSD under Controls > Autopilot to get TACC back. You can’t use them both at the same time.

This is not a Y-specific topic, and has been widely discussed here and elsewhere.

I used the free trial of FSD. Tesla removed it today, but neither the cruise control or autopilot will work. Can not engage either one.

Um. There’s some click-through reading and such that one has to do before Basic Autopilot is enabled. Have you looked in the Autopilot tab to make sure that the top right button is enabled?

Controls>AutoPilot>Cruise Control
Done both and neither works

Already answered above. Basic Cruise Control (TACC and Lanekeep) is always there, but you have to make sure that the correct buttons are hit in the correct sequence.

You can switch to autosteer without stopping.

Selecting FSD requires car in park.

Switching between two driver profiles, one with FSD and one without can be done without stopping and as many times as you want during a drive (but has other issues like interrupting your music app, or changing the HVAC settings to what they were the last time you drove under that profile.)
