CT and Federal incentive?

On Tesla site for new Model Y LR it’s shows 2250$ ‘ CT Incentive’… over Federal rebate of 7,500?
Is this new in CT (and does it work on top of 7,500$) ?

Bit stumped. CT had not had any additional rebates/incentives and quite unlike other states like say NJ.
So just want to know more before any excitement . Thanks!

CHEAPR - New Eligible Vehicles

A list of all eligible electric vehicles under the CHEAPR program.

It's been there for a while. It seems that it changed to a PoS rebate system in March 2023.
Others from CT should be able to confirm exactly how it works and whether you need to do anything yourself to claim it.

It's separate from the Federal credit.
