Current Free Supercharging Promo follow the car or owner?

Hey guys. I have an X on order and I’m wondering about Tesla’s current free unlimited supercharging promo. My advisor has been great but I have already asked him a bunch of questions. I don’t want to bother him with this unless you guys don’t know.

I’m wondering if the current promo follows the car or the owner. Meaning does it go away if I sell the car or does it transfer to the new owner.

It doesn't follow. If you sell the car, the car doesn't keep it. If you buy a new car, you don't keep it.

It used to stay with the car. Old Model S cars have permanent FUSC. The more recent FUSC offers are only for the first owner of the car and goes away when the car is sold.

Tesla appears to be trying to hide this information. Your Tesla account always used to explicitly say whether the FUSC was transferable or not, but now that information has been removed from the account page. I have a 2014 with FUSC under the old program that is transferable to a new owner, but now my account just says this...

It used to say it was transferable on that screen. Hmmmm
