Dark mode navigation screen too dark

HI all,

I’ve owned my new Model 3 for only a few weeks. It’s great. At night, when the touchscreen goes to dark mode, the navigation screen is way too dark. I have the display set to auto. I can change the brightness on the fly with the left scroll wheel, but it quickly goes back to much-too-dark. So I’ve set it for a specific brightness at night (not auto), but I think that will be too bright during the day. Any experience, ideas, or advice? Thanks.

I did try that, but not while I was actually driving. That’s an idea.
