Hello! I have an aftermarket dash cam to install in a 2021 MYP. I've seen lots of pages with Model SX3 and a few with older MY. Everyone seems to think the 12v Cig lighter jack in the console is switched. I haven't EVER had it turn off. (Tested for over 2 hours!) So the plan is to find an easy to find ACC type signal to run a 12v relay powered from the console jack.... OR is there 5v or 12v switched power in the rear view mirror area?.... OR is there a switched wire somewhere in the console?... By "switched" I mean it's OFF when I get out of the car and walk away (Phone Key). I thought the USB C ports could power it, (the dash cam runs off 5V from a 12v cig plug) but they are only good for half an amp or so.... Any ideas !
