DIY Chrome Delete with Plasti Dip

Has anyone plastidipped the side camera housing? Should the inner area near the camera be left bare? Any tricky parts to this?

I could also buy aftermarket covers, plastidip those, and then install.

I promise you it looks identical to the original pictures. They've held up incredibly well! Even in Michigan's harsh winters. I will take a photo later today to prove how well it's held up. Never once touched up the plasti dip.
