On the RWD it might, although only if you buy a whole set at once. Rear tends to wear much faster, and even more-so on RWD, but if you replace only the pair that wears out first that might only mean a sooner start to staggered purchases rather than more $ in total? Not sure how that would work out. That would require sticking with same tire make/model over time.
BTW my set of 18” PS4S cost a lot less than that, $960 installed iirc.
