Don’t use suction cup devices on the piano black

Wow, this is obviously disappointing. Sorry this happened.

One thing I'm curious about though is why people are mounting their phones in their Model 3. The Bluetooth integration with the tablet display is good enough for my needs, but then I'm not really much of a power user! What are people finding they need to use their phone for while driving?

Thanks for posting this. This surely will help a lot of other Model 3 owners. I'm just like @wenkan, I usually use the glass (windshield, roof, quarter panel, etc.) to mount any suction cup thingy. It's easier to clean if the suction mount melts. Hope you get your console squared away.

I use this flexible arm/gooseneck mount:

It works great and in 3 months hasn't fallen off and doesn't mar the back of the screen where it's attached. Super easy to re-position the phone. It does bounce, but all arms will bounce.
