Door sill missing New model 3

I just found out that my car does not have the black door sill installed. Car is one week old , should I request Teslar to in stall missing Door sill, or should I install the illuminated door sill from Teslar?

I just found out I am having almost the same issue. But I'm missing "model S" door sill plates for mine. I didn't realize or notice it until today when I bought the illuminated door sills from Tesla to switch out.

Do a service request. Maybe you can convince them to offset the cost of the lighted sills.
