downgrading from 21 to 19s

Hi downsizing from 21 to 19 inch wheels this week and wondering if an alignment will be needed? Is it required or recommended or can go without it? Thanks!

I would disagree on why, but agree on when (sometimes).

The tires and wheels won't change the alignment, so it isn't necessary "because" of new wheels/tires.

However, for some folks, if the car is old or they've driven it hard, etc... then its recommended to have an alignment to minimize excess wear and tear on the tires.

So, if the car is new and there aren't any issues, skip alignment.

But if the car is old or shows unexpected wear patterns, then alignment should be done.

Installed the new Replika wheels today and love the look of em. Ride quality is improved but not as substantial as I had hoped. Maybe when the tires break in further? Installed Goodyear electric drive EV tires
