Dual Motor Non Perforamce 0-60 Runs Using Dragy

Hi everyone,

Recorded some videos doing some 0-60 runs, got the 4.5 that is being quoted by Tesla. If you have have any suggestions on anything you'd like to see let me know!

Are these runs uploaded to dragy? I can't seem to find them. There aren't many LRD times posted so yours would be good addition. I'd be interested to see what it does with ~20% SOC under the same conditions/location.

I went ahead and uploaded a few of the runs into draggy, you'll be able to check them out there. I'll try and post one at 20% SOC when I'm off for Thanksgiving. I am curious as well.

Nice, that is better than I expected.

I suspect the differences between different states of charge show up above 60mph based on how the torque curve changes. (What mountain pass performance had shown)

Outstanding—thanks for the runs. I don’t see them on dragy by the video shows the 0-30mph times as similar to when fully charged. So it does look like the low SOC effect is only seen above 40mph per the MPP video.

@superhighmiles if you can provide the incremental times from 0 to 60 for both the low SOC runs, I can estimate how much power was lost.

Oddly, it seems like to get a faster 0-30 time when SOC is low.

So, why did it only hit the advertised 4.5 sec 0-60 in 2 of 5 runs?

Tesla needs to uncork the LR AWD (non-P) a bit and bump it up.

It makes less horsepower as the SOC drops

Sorry I wasn't more specific earlier. Can you provide the 0-40 and 0-50 times for the low SOC runs? Or better yet, just post those runs to dragy?
