Dynamat Sound Deadening

Has anyone tried using Dynamat Sound Deadening in their Roadster to help reduce the road noise?

I used Dynamat Lite in order to preserve the light weight objectives of the original design of the Roadster, but I don't think it worked quite as well as regular Dynamat does. It did make the car significantly quieter. I also added sound-deadening insulation under all the carpeted surfaces which helped with both sound and HVAC needs.

We applied Dynamat to our Roadster a couple years back and have been happy with it.

Yes I coated the inside of the tub with Dynamat and it did help. Before I felt I was riding in a tin can where I heard every little pebble. Unfortunately I applied sound reduction stage 1 and 2 at the same time so I can’t separate the effects of just the Dynamat.

A definitive improvement but not as much as you probably want. I have been tempted to try additional soundproofing in the wheel well.
