    This is a lot more about what is available to buy than it is what people preferred to buy.
    That many hybrids and EVs were sold in California last month and China has what, 20 times the population of California...or more?

    38 times, but only 47% of the households even own cars. US owns 2.28 cars per household!

    Ok, thanks for those numbers, but even so, they have 10 times more cars in China than we have in the US and only a infintisimal fraction are EVs or hybrids at this point, it's hardly useful data for comparison.

    China could potential be a gold mine for TM and other EV manufactures but one major problem exist. That problem is China's business model; China requires an ownership in the business.
