One way of implementing KERS on an electric motorcycle. Tricky because it takes the braking force from the front wheel. Better for the same reason.

Chip Yates bike is just about ready to rumble. Or whatever the electric equivalent is. While the races against the gas bikes might be pretty interesting, the track testing at Infineon next week could prove even more so.

If he goes all out, it will be interesting to compare lap times with the electrics that have already raced there, as well as the gassers. Top TTXGP time is 1:56.948. Top gas bike time is 1:35.893, set back in 2006.

Chip Yates electric superbike tested at Infineon yesterday with no problems. Says it's acceleration is "totally insane". Could be an interesting race in January. His major drawback might be the handling. Power doesn't sound like it's a problem. Video is pretty cool. Nice sound.

I got to witness the record-breaking event. There's talk of getting both the Killacycle, the Rocket, and another electric together at the same track next year. Would be epic.
