Enlightening Round Numbers Miles/kWh used/Avg WH/mi

I just hit some round numbers on my 2021 MYLR. Drove 45,000 miles, used 12,000 KW for an average 267 WH/MI rating. I'm in my early 60's so I don't have a lead foot but consistent highway speeds of 70-80 MPH. If I only used home charging at .15/kWh, it would have cost me $ 1,800 to drive the 45,000 miles. (Obviously I had to use occasional SC) An ICE SUV vehicle averaging 27.5 MPG would have used 1,636 gallons of gasoline. At $3.65/gallon, my fuel cost would have been almost $6,000. No oil changes, no brake pad services, less carbon into the atmosphere, no visits to dealer to update car software/recalls, no funding of foreign oil nations. Just the math makes me smile....the driving experience provides a sly grin.
