These are the tools Tesla used to override the parking lock in the past. I hope we can recreate these things in the future.

So the circuit boards that were damaged by the short have been rebuilt and repaired.


After all the repairs done, Gruber then ran into a blown LSI chip on the PEM DMC board below. It was compromised from the other chips burning up, and will not function. With voltage applied, it just heats up.

Since it is a 3.0 modified board, they needed to download the firmware before replacing the chip, and found the data is not accessible.
At this point we are waiting on Tesla to supply the firmware needed to repair this part.
