Extension Cord for use with GEN 2 UMC

I am looking to purchase a extension cord for use with my GEN 2 UMC. I need an extension cord for when I visit my brother who has dryer outlet that I can use while visiting him but I must have at least 25ft or more extension cord. Any recommendations?

Just search in amazon for an extension cord using the outlet type you'll need. I picked up a 30' NEMA 14-50R one there made by Camco, it has a ton of positive reviews.

His dryer will likely be either a 10-30 or a 14-30. Have him check if there is a label on the face of the outlet or he can send you a picture.

Yes. Look at the link I included above.

A 10-30 is an older style. It’s no longer allowed in new construction. The 14-30 is newer and has a ground.
