fender trim loose

Anybody know a solution for fender trim coming loose after driving through water.

Can you take a picture to show exactly how it's "coming loose" now on the car?

The fender trim is held on with D161 sized clips, and if the trim is pulled out the clip may still be in the fender. What you'll need to do is pull the trim off a bit more in order to reach in there to pop the clip out from the fender, then place it back into the trim slot where it goes and then pop it back onto the car.

clips are coming out of fender, goes back in but afraid of losing trim if it comes completely loose before I notice.

Have you tried pushing on them really hard to snap back in? If that doesn’t work, schedule service. Mobile service can replace the wheel well garnish.

That happened to mine. I just bashed it back in. Problem solved.

My RF fender trim has always come loose despite pushing it back in place and mobile service is coming next week to replace a few damaged clips while they do something else. I am told there will be no charge.
