Passenger Red Reflector Loose - Is this the rattling noise I hear?

Hi TSM Community

Today I noticed in my 2024 MYLR that the red reflector light on the front passenger side of the door is loose, maybe it wasn't installed/secured properly when it was built.

I believe this could be the culprit of my rattling noise I've been hearing when driving, as I do notice it come from the right side of the vehicle, is this worth scheduling an appointment for the Tesla service to fix? Or is this something I can fix myself?

Put a bit of tape over it to stop it moving.
If the noise stops, you have verified that it's the cause of your noise.
It would seem it just pops out Model Y Front Door Reflector or light?

Maybe it has a broken clip that lets it move about too much.
You could try a little bit of doublesided tape maybe.

Seems to be orderable as a second hand part from this place $10 (hmm says its Yugoslavia!):
3 Door reflector Tesla Model 3, Model Y 1085105-00-E

Google the part number 1085105-00-E - Its available - Or just hit up Tesla - Its a new car.

I had a front passenger door rattle which I noticed the day after I took delivery. Fixed it by banging on the door panel edges and center with the side of my fist. I still have the rearview mirror/camera housing rattle to deal with.
