Hey all!
Current owner of a 2020 Honda Insight almost fully paid off. The new used vehicle tax credit of $4k has got me interested in seeking out a used Tesla for $25K and under. Figured I'd go to the source for advice on a Tesla... I'm looking in the DMV area to get a sub-$25K tesla. Is that even reasonable or am I setting myself up for a bunch of problems down the road?
I'd much rather buy directly from a private seller but unfortunately the tax credit doesn't include private sales. Dealers around here for a Tesla around $25k seem so sketch. I was in one yesterday and the guy was like oh we just increased the price of this one. It had front bumper damage and the screen has about 6 bubbles in it...anywho.
Just seeing if now is a decent time to look or if I should be looking more near the end of 2023 for one.
