Free supercharging after battery / motor replacement?

For vehicles that have lifetime free supercharging, does that apply to after the vehicle has had major work done, including a battery replacement? Is Tesla at liberty to refuse battery replacement on vehicles?

If someone purchased a car with free supercharging from 3rd party and then wanted to replace/upgrade the battery through Tesla, would they still be able to supercharge for free?

Does replacing the battery reset "chargegate" ?

It is associated with the VIN, and not associated with the battery serial number.

As long as your battery replacement is done by Tesla, you are safe.

However, Tesla might challenge you if you put in a 752-mile battery from a Novi, Michigan, claiming it does not need to honor third-party parts.

Same size up to 100 kWh. Tesla hasn't publically disclosed it has sold any bigger sizes during the free supercharging offer.

I’ve had both a motor and high voltage battery replaced without any affect to the supercharging, other than as of this year it takes twice as long… sorry to those waiting in line.

How much did that end up costing you? To replace motor and battery and did you have it done by tesla?
