Fremont Factory Tour Request

Many people choose to pick up their cars at the Fremont factory with delivery immediately after their tour, so I imaging that your delivery specialist might be able to arrange a tour for you prior to your taking delivery.

For us, this was a pretty special day. We took BART from the airport, and a short Uber ride directly to the Fremont Factory delivery center. It is at their showroom, so we saw many people just begining their purchase journey with a walk around the showroom cars, some time in the design center, and their first test drive. You could sense the excitement they had while imagining themselves actually owning an electric car for the first time.

We were allowed 4 people total for the tour. Took about 4 hours after landing at the airport.

After picking up our X we spent our first night in Monterey and had our first SuperCharger experience (fantastic) then drove home to San Diego.

Biggest surprise, aside from a stereo that sounded better than we expected, was just how easy the car works out the SuperCharger stops. Tells you where to stop, how long you need to charge, and predicts how much reserve charge you will have getting to your next stop.

we did this in 2013 as well... Suggest requesting a Friday delivery, so you can take a weekend of it. (we went to Sonoma first, then headed back to Southern California) And that was before the software would route you to each supercharger, so we just stopped and charged along the way.
