Front bumper damaged from collision

Should I still take it to road trip before fix?

Also just to throw it out there if there’s a Tesla center near you a new bumper is about 1100$ installed brand new already prepainted. That’s assuming no radar/ sensors were damaged, for me it was just a small crack near the top and other person paid but it was much less than what conventional body shops wanted (around 2.5k)

Good to know - thanks! That's a pretty good deal for being pre-painted and installed.

I may need to go that route if I want to fix the horrible paint mismatch issue from the factory of my front bumper, if Tesla won't cover it. I don't know yet because the SC won't talk to me about repairs until I officially own the car in the Tesla database, which I don't according to them. That's a different battle.

If they let me keep the original bumper for that price, I can probably sell it to recover a good chunk of the $1100 out of pocket.
