front fog LED lights - operation question from new M3 owner

hi guys, new here.
day 2 with my long range model 3.
I've been trying to get my front fog LED lights to turn on (only the fog lights).

When on Park, I tried turning the front fog lights option on and off but don't see any light turning on or off. I tried with both the exterior lights option on auto or off. When exterior lights on auto, nothing turns off/on when enabling/disabling the front fog button. When on off, it stills allow me to enable the front fog option but nothing turns on in the vehicle.

Is this normal?

I'd imagine enabling that button would make these front fog LED lights turn on, right? Do I have an issue?

Low beams need to be on for the fog lights to come on.

Ok I’m going to try having exterior lights on and see if I pressing the fog lights does anything. Thanks

So either your Parking lights need to be on or full headlights (in low Beam mode) in order for the fog lights to activate.

..... Or only the parking lights need to be on for fogs.
