Front License Plate Attempted Theft

Got to my car yesterday and noticed my front license plate had been bent. Took a closer look and it looks like someone was trying to yank the license plate off by pulling it up and off the screws.

Anyone had a similar experience?

I have to go get a new bracket because I just noticed Tesla didn’t install it properly anyway. Only the top tape was stuck on since it had been installed too high.

Hope it wasn't a koolaid drinker that is trying to mess with the 'millionaires' car.... My wife is now paranoid that someone is going to key my car (when I finally get it that is...) because of all the hate and misinformation about Tesla's being funded from people's taxes and all of us being millionaires that don't need it deserve a rebate.

Yeah, I’ve been having the same nightmares. Mine is parked on a really busy street and I worry that someone will walk by and attempt something.

Moving next week but until then. Fingers crossed

Maybe someone accidently hit your car where the license plate was, and drove backwards, which made the license plate look like it was 'pryed'?

Wasn't a single scratch anywhere. License plate was just bent and shifted slightly upwards. Definitely looks like someone tugged on it straight up
