Front License Plate on Tow Eye

It might bother me to have it off center (legal?), but adhesive also bothers me.

I'm wondering how you make sure it's exactly level, and whether it will shift when you go over bumps.

I had something similar on my old BRZ. I eventually got rid of it as the asymmetry got the best of my OCD. I think one of the solutions that mounts underneath the bumper would be better if you're opposed to adhesives and/or drilling.
