Hopefully you’re not upside down on that lien.
The same exact configuration brand new right now is only $87,000 after tax incentives in CA at least (for those that income qualify).
Good luck. As mentioned, why sell after just a few months?

I understand about the incentives, however you still pay the full price though. Your Loan/payments or cash still has to be the full price. You get the benefits of that at a later time not right away.

There were plans for it to be part of a business, not to be used personally by me. The plan didn’t workout, so need to sell the car.

The incentives aside, the biggest problem with selling virtually new 2018 car is usually the initial depreciation but in this unique case Tesla reduced the price on the new 2019’s and because of that they are discounting new inventory 2018’s substantially, many around 20% and some even more. I don’t envy your position. GLWS

Well, I went online and searched for Tesla’s that are in the market, I think I have one of the few Tesla’s that are for sale in that price range, with almost as low miles as mine.

What people are telling me here, that I should drop the price by at least $20k, but looking online the $80k are 2016 models with +20k miles

Select new inventory, select Model X and then select 100D,
You will see brand new 2018’s available from Tesla before any tax credits priced starting at $84,650. There are roughly 90 X100D’s available and about the same number of XP100D’s available. They are built and ready to deliver with full warranties and other benefits that go along with the tax benefits of being the original owner. The highest discount on a non Performance X is $20350, but that is a higher optioned car than yours and not a comparable. The highest discount on a P100D is $42,220, these discounts are to position these sales prices closer to the current prices of new car orders. They will continue to adjust these prices down to move the inventory the longer these 2018’s remain unsold. Also keep in mind that those used cars advertised online you mentioned have not sold, hence "for sale" and will also have to make serious adjustments after the new market adjustments sink in.

Thank you for the link.

Just went there, new inventory, just selected the option with 100D, nothing else. I attached the picture I found.
It’s obvious I need to adjust the price. But I think I’m not being reasonable in a way.

Who knows, i May be wrong.
