He's bluffing. The CA rebate has income restrictions. Anyone buying a Performance S will not meet those income restrictions for the rebate on a new car, and therefore won't get close to the full rebate amount.

His location is listed as Orland Park which I assume is Orland Park, IL and Illinois doesn't appear to have any EV rebates. Something doesn't seem to be adding up but maybe, as you suggest, he is bluffing.

Just to update everyone. I reached out to the owner of this Model S yesterday. He is near Vegas. This posting is from his CL add and claims it is not him posting on the guessing why it hasn’t sold at lowered price.
