Good for your wife's CX-5. It's pretty much the simplest of TACC implementations with simplest following capabilities.

It works and has emergency braking. I take that any day over AP which can’t seem to get rid of PBs…

Great for you. I too remember when vehicle started having that technology 6-8 years ago. My newer Leaf had it.

It was pretty decent on the Interstates. Barely could make it through an intersection though. Didn't stop for traffic lights or stop signs. It was better than Cruise Control. I think that it did have some phantom braking in it though.

I'm way beyond that myself.
