Great aftermarket seat back that works with refreshed X

there are brackets that should have come with the seatback that you use the bolts to mount to basically sandwiching the seat frame. There should have been an instruction sheet that came in the box. If you go back to the Amazon product page, there’s also an installation video and they highlight the 4 bolt points. - unfortunately this forum chews up the links so can’t link to Amazon.

Nope, doesn’t impact ventilated seats.

Does not work. Looks like either a change was made to model x seats or you got y seats.

Warning everyone, don’t buy this without first taking apart your seat. Broke a few things in the process. Pretty pissed.

If your seat looks like this one, there are no mounting holes for the bracket that holds the seat back tray. The ventilation fans also get in the way.

When I get some time, I dismantle my seat back again on my 2023 X Plaid picked up in early September and take photos. If I recall, there are no mounting holes. The included main brackets basically screw into the other included smaller tabs that clamp onto the metal seat frame.
