Hi all,

We've had a Model 3 2021 Long Range with Aero wheels for coming up to 6 months. First EV. Really loving it and my wife now really enjoys driving (she used to avoid it when we had a Nissan Qashqai). Finally installed a Zappi chargepoint around a week ago.

The main downside is that driving our second car (a 2016 1.5 Mazda mx5) now seems really slow and hard work in comparison. I'm looking around for a cheaper smaller EV for a replacement low mileage second car. The trouble is, the cheap(er) used options seem like bad value for money and a bad investment with limited range that will be obsolete pretty soon. Most new EVs seem poor value and likely to depreciate faster when compared with a used Model 3. Hmmmm.....

The other niggle is the slightly jarring ride quality on the poor quality broken country roads around here (on standard aero wheels). Perhaps switching to a different brand of tyres might help a little there. Oh yes, and the slightly limited practicality of getting a Model 3 sedan rather than a Model Y hatchback (still not shipping in the UK) . We're in near Huddersfield in the UK FWIW.
