HANSSHOW Yoke Steering Wheel : Question

I have a heated steering wheel in my Y that I never use because I live in Florida. If I replace it with a Hansshow yoke, can I save some cash by getting the non-heated version of the Yoke? Will it throw an error code or something if I install a wheel with no heating element connected.

Did you go with the normal black leather or the black nappa ? Can't figure out which one is more OEM

I had my yoke steering wheel installed last night and to my surprised the heat is way less than OEM.
If OEM is 100% Hanshow’s yoke is only about 25% if that.
Do you have similar experience? I have ordered the heated one as I have a MYP but now I feel unsure with this purchase.

yes its getting warmer over time. but less than OEM
the bottom now is heating up
I also have a little squeak when i turn wheel, I have to try and adjust
But I just cant go back, autopilot is much easier now, so I deal with the heat issue

My yoke heats better than the o.e. wheel did. But I did not buy a hanshow Yoke. I’m very happy with my yoke. I get lots of questions at cars and coffee events.

What was the brand and where did you get it. It would be helpful to OP. Was it a pain to change out the air bag?
