Am I the only one who reads owners manuals???
The Model Y has a relatively short one, too... My Prius Prime is like 700 detailed pages on everything. The Model Y is only 200ish and is missing things like how to use the 3rd row... how to rotate the tires, etc.... but it does answer OPs question. Seriously... everyone should read the manual for their $50,000+ car

The Tesla Model Y Owner's Manual does not always provide adequate information on the latest features and updates. When it comes to the Tesla phone app the manual is woefully inadequate, that is being kind.
As far as I am aware this is the latest Tesla Model Y Owner's Manual. It does not contain any information on the steering wheel heater in the Climate Control section of the manual or under Steering Wheel functions.
