I don't own a Tesla, and I drive a Mustang GT, which was fast until I drove a P3D, but I digress. My thinking was I'd get registered for when I eventually join the party. I've enjoyed lurking and seeing all the different opinions and takes and the cool stuff everyone does with their vehicles.

Welcome. You're on a dangerous path, though. Reading about Teslas leads to driving Teslas which generally leads to buying Teslas.

A Mustang was my dream car as a kid, but somehow I've gotten to nearly 50 years old without ever owning a Ford. Anyway, once you go electric you'll never want to drive an ICE car again. Welcome!

A Mustang was my dream car as a kid

My dad's HS dream car was a 1967, and he bought one that we restored together. I miss that thing even though she was as temperamental as she was loud. And prone to costing roughly $100/hr to drive considering what usually broke.

Welcome! My last car before Tesla was a 2008 Mustang GT. I had a lot of fun with that Mustang over the years. But after I got my Model S the Mustang just didn't feel special at all any more.
