HELP> Removed weather liner and can't get it in right

Hey everyone, I was doing a pillar delete on my Tesla model Y and I needed to remove the door trim to get the full pillar. But when I was needing to put in the weather rubber trim back in, it isn't going in right. It is not the first layer but the second layer that covers the screws. I was pretty much brute forcing it in as I am not sure how to wiggle it in. I added pictures if anyone knows.

I don't have any pointers (I don't even have the car yet), but where did you order/get your "pillar delete" from?
