Hidden hitch cover off, replace?

Got stuck in a huge snow bank during a bad parking job and now the cover is missing one of the screw/clips that holds it in place. It will not stay in place with one clip.
Should I just leave it off or worthwhile sourcing a new screw to reattach?

Do you mean the factory hitch cover? Isn’t it just plastic, no screws?

I’d replace the screw. Otherwise, you’ll pick up a lot of snow, dirt and crud in there, and lose a tiny bit of efficiency.

Replaced the screw and a few days later the cover fell off and went awol.
Picked up a new one for 11 dollars from Tesla and am now good to go!
