Just installed my second wall connector. This one at my house in Tempe. Decided to run 60A through the ceiling and drop it down inside the wall to a cabinet in the garage. Makes for a very clean install. I left 100A wire in the ceiling in case Tesla cars in the future can handle more power on charging. Highly recommend if you buy a connector be sure at the parts counter to ask for the one with the LONG cord. PS - Sorry for all the oil stains on the floor from working on my ICE cars over the past 30 years. Tried all the standard ways to clean up the concrete. I may put in tile or something now.
Nice work. I, for one, actually like the look of these HPWC (especially this black one and the signature one) so I almost feel as though it's a shame to hide such a work of art. Certainly makes for a clean look though when not in use so I can appreciate it.
My wife suggested the spot and her thought was it would keep the dust off things so she wouldn't get as dirty charging her car. I wipe down things on the charger every week or so. Happy wife happy...
