Anyone updated their tax code online, and have the Tesla listed as a taxable benefit for 2020-2021? I was led to believe this should be Zero, but i'm seeing a £6k taxable benefit. Any ideas?

It's an error by HMRC. No surprises there. Ring them up and tell them the BIK is % this year so they need to remove it from the coding. Problem is you won't be able to get through right now.

Yes have this problem through the online accounting software and payroll but hopefully it will be updated by the next pay run
Well if its a company car it would be taken through PAYE, at the end of the year you could claim any differences though.

Helpfully hmrc updated a doc online last week to confirm that if you take a bev as a choice the optional remuneration rules dont apply (as less than 75gco2/km)
any tax experts about? If your contributing to the cost of the car, and it is already bik zero are those contributions offsetable as a expense or against income?
