When charging at home, what should the number with the A be? The picture attached has it at 34A. What should it be?

I assume this is in response to my post? If so, no worries. My electrician hard-wired everything for 50 amps. We chose a 40 amp breaker to match the mobile charger and to never allow it to draw more than 40 amps.
Yes. To your post. But I feel that’s a bad choice. A breaker shouldn’t be sitting at its maximum current for long periods of time. It’s going to lead to nuisance tripping and potentially overheating of the breaker.

But as long as the wiring is sized correctly, I guess it’s safe.
