The update release notes specifically mentioned that they implemented better support for several types of European Homelink hardware. Perhaps that is why there are still some problems for users in other regions.

Just as an update: I used auto-close for the first time this morning and it worked flawlessly.
Will see whether auto-open upon arriving works just as well this afternoon.

Just tried Homelink and no luck with either opener. Does the garage door opener need to support wifi? I didn't think so. IAE, one of ours does. I got all successful messages when programming Homelink and have the latest software in the car, 2019.32. May wait for the mobile service unit to come around and try with them.

Check and see if you have LED lights in the garage, also did you install yourself?

I got a new Garage door opener with those waffler LED’s, removed it and it worked right away, no issues since. The new garage door opener is a Marantec ultra quiet.
