I'm about to do my annual caliper cleaning/lubrication, and I've seen several sources that say the rear caliper spring clips have a tendency to fail and often need to be replaced while you're in there anyway. It seems like a super cheap stamped/bent metal part, but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to buy them.
I went to epc.tesla.com, and easily found the drawing page that shows them (picture below). However, I now have two problems:
- It shows two different part numbers for image part # 13: 8008252-00-B and 8008254-00-A. Which one do I need for my 2020 M3 LR, and how many?
- Even knowing the part #, where can I actually buy them? Do I need to just show up at a service center and ask for them? Any idea how much they cost?
Thanks in advance for any help you can share!
