How do I delete a thread

I posted my car for sale yesterday and want to remove it. How do I do that. Having problems with the site. Not very user friendly.

You dont delete it yourself. You can select the report button to "report" your own post and ask the site moderators to delete your thread. A moderator for that section will be able to delete it, but as most moderators are volunteers (and being a mod in one section doesnt necessarily give one rights in another) it may take a bit before a mod with the ability to delete it in your desired section sees it.
