We're about to get our second Tesla (a new Model Y) and I'm curious as to how durable the UMC cable is towards... being run over. I'm not saying that my wonderful person I've decided to spend the rest of my life with would ever do such a thing but I'm just sayin. Hell I might even do it too!
I'm waiting for the electrician to come out and do his part for running another 14-50 to the other side of the garage and until then and that quote we'll be rotating the 3 and her Y as needed to that side of the garage. I would've had the original install location moved but we didn't expect her Model Y this year at all let alone in a week from now or less.
I'm also looking into just a heavy duty NEMA 14-50 extension cable
Heavy-duty NEMA 14-50 extension cord for EV, 50 ft. – EVSE Adapters
Or the Elong Tesla Extension cable which is kinda cool
