How far should the front doors open?

Both of my front doors only open about 2-3" before stopping, and it is a bit annoying having to wait for the motor to stop moving before continuing to push them open. If I hit the open button and then push on the door, the motor fights back to put the door to the point that it is only open 2-3". So...I have to hit the button, wait a couple of seconds for the door to open 2-3" and then stop moving, and then push it open the rest of the way. Shouldn't the door open further using the motor? And if so, how do I get that to happen?

@rpo, if standing right in front of the door, mine opens only 2 to 3”. But if standing to the rear, it opens the rest of the way. Typically it auto opens the 2-3” as I approach, then waits until I am behind the door to open the rest of the way.

Mine only opens 2-3" when I am exiting too with nothing anywhere near the car.

I took delivery on 9/7/23. I see same behavior with front doors. From the manual, "Opening and Closing Front Doors from Outside" section I see the below paragraph:
