How long to activate autopilot when purchasing after delivery?

Any experiences in how long it takes for autopilot to fully activate in the car if purchased after delivery?

mine finished calibrating the same day. i want to say around 25 miles or something.

Mine was fast... About 10. miles on the freeway and it was up and running.. This was in traffic jam type traffic so maybe it had more to work with...

I think you're not asking about calibration time, but time for AP to be pushed after post-delivery purchase, right?

They officially say up to 3 days for AP to appear after post delivery purchase. It won't happen while the car is being driven or charging. I just bought AP post-delivery and it appeared in my car about 12 hours later. I was plugged in, but not charging that night.

I think with all the software feature purchases it helps to call support. All they do is add an option code to the car so if you are on the phone they can do it while you are there. Then you can reboot or whatever while you are all together to verify. All these cases of the backlog messing things up are nuts. People taking delivery of a 3 for example without the app having the car makes no sense and shouldn’t be tolerated.
